Alright, who put Roseanne Barr into the team to sing the anthem?

Congrats USA!!! For some obscure reason I was cheering for the Swedes but I must admit you deserve it more. See you next year!

Frustration and disappointment? Well, still better than this;

What a moment. Some terrible American Idol auditions... but nothing better then true passion and happiness. Great moment.

You might want to tell that to half of our players. I know for a fact Dubuque, Iowa was having viewing parties.

no last year russia won the gold.(2013 now so gotta speak in past :/) we both missed the medals. 2 years back we faced eachother in the finals
It's hard question you asking since we gotta think on how far back do we look? last few years we've been more succesful in adults hockey. bronze in vancouver 2010, gold in 2011 then sweden in other hand silver 2011 and gold in kids games 2012
you have bigger names in the NHL but last years tournament proved it again that big names doesn't mean good team...so i would have to say neither of us is better or worse. you have better individuals but i would say we got better team play.

Really close tournament as well, even if the big 4 came out on top in the end.

Too bad the final game wasn't as entertaining as bronze but that's how it usually goes. Too much pressure in the final
Sweden has better hockey players than Finland on all levels.

Check the number of players in the best league in the world, point standings, awards etc.

Not even close.

Congratulations to the Americans, your victory was well deserved!

It's funny how the hockey world is almost a complete reverse of the "real" world, Americans are humble, respectful and classy underdog and the Canadians are the crude, entitled, chauvinistic bully.

I did but Yakupov played bad at times too, what's your point? No one here realistically thinks they BOTH will be busts.

No he clearly threw it to stop the breakaway, I said "why would you even do that?" because it's an automatic goal when there's an empty net.

I think that was Rakell, obviously very disapointed after just losing the puck at the offensive blue line, understandable.
