Oh, I don't know.... I had to come into work this morning, along with a few other unhappy co-workers and we've pretty much been gathered around a computer....basically not getting any work done... (the boss being one of those co-workers).

Sure, hockey is probably more popular in the NE.... But there are loyal hockey fans here in the Mile High City too.. Well, at least where I work.

; )

No....We are American. US. See the USA jerseys in there? Get a clue. We just had 19,070 for an AHL game last week. Good job.

This stat tells the entire story of the game.

Troechek +3
Biggs +3
Grimaldi +2

And Gibson 1GA.

Ah shut up.. Finns with there "Leijona" tattoos, leijona this and that stuff are Finlands rednecks. Pretty much our version of confederate flag. There's difference between pride and just being a redneck

Needless to say, Gibson was very deserving of goalie of the tournament honors and MVP of the tournament honors. As someone else mentioned, his 1.36 GAA is absolutely sick and kind of reminiscent of Jonathan Quick's performance for the Kings in their Cup run last spring.

Have to admit, the USA is probably the best in hockey right now as far as goaltending.

Quick
Miller
Thomas
Howard
Schneider
Gibson

I can't quite remember the quote right now... "Hockey is ..% mental, ..% being mental".

I would not have guessed that USA and Sweden would get to the finals, but USA had the right mentality in this tournament whenever I saw them play. Congrats again.

I was disappointed that we didn't get the 3 am(central) time slot again.

That's the only time I can wake up, now.

Thanks Russian tournament organizers.

Ask a random ~35 year old on the streets if he knew that US played Sweden in the gold medal game.... maybe 1% of them will know about it.
