Except they are already at the cap floor, and have been for a while.

How can anyone not like this move? Connolly puts up more than half a point per game. I think this is a great move to bring in a veteran so we don't rely on the young guns.

I can't really be upset about this. Either he works out ok/good/great as a 1-year 2nd line center stopgap or he completely blows and we suck just as badly as we would have without him. If this keeps Cizikas and McDonald out of the line-up that's good too.
