The cap floor was 48 million last year, so that shouldn't be shocking. Lower cap floor is beneficial to several markets who get to save a few million and qualify for revenue sharing at a lower price.

But with the recent success of the team, I think the attendance will keep increasing. And its very disrespectful to compare Florida and Phoenix, you obviously don't know what you are talking about.
The idea that Florida's attendance is higher than the Pens' anything ever is laughable. I support you dude but don't argue nonsense.

I was one of the first people to suggest a book but I'm not sure I want to know now. My faith in humanity is low enough as it is...

You nailed that. Fehr is like, "everything looks great...but"

But that is his job. Hopefully, both sides will live to fight the war another day.

On paper, but not everyone's going to be a cap celing team. In actuality it's closer to 10 million or so, if half the teams scrape the celing.

It isn't just that though...There's also a whole bunch of stuff that both sides have made concessions on. Just because it has been "settled" doesn't mean they came to figures that both sides are happy with.

Something this big doesn't just get settled in a couple of hours. I'm actually surprised if it would be this early.

700k when there's only a $2 million gap is quite significant.

So uh they haven't even begin to talk about the players and if they are allowed to play in the Olympics. As far as I see it whenever an issue is agreed on something new pops up.

I hate to break this to you, but in the entertainment business, EVERYTHING is about the money. If a rapper or athlete or actor tells you otherwise, they are lying.

You either have to accept that the people who entertain you don't give a hoot about you beyond your ability to open your wallet, or stop consuming their products.

Especially considering the gap was at $5 million at the start of the day. Now it's down to $1.3 - allegedly (I do believe Ward, he seems to be a solid source).
