TSN has cut to talking about is also. Rishaug, Dreger, Labrun, and Ward are discussing the recent events from Manhattan with comments from Eric Macramalla in the middle of other programming (gold medal replay).
Shouldn't have taken that job where you work 7 days a week.
I am technically on call 24/7, hence why I am at work right at this moment.

I used to do that, but I always end up spoiling it for myself before I get home.
When I started here last year, I was working until 9 pm, then 7 pm, then finally 6 pm, and I was thrilled because I told myself I'd finally get to watch all the games...Then the lockout happened, and finally now it looks like it'll end and I get moved to finishing at 8 pm...LOL no luck, though it is a good opportunity so I'm glad from a career point of view.
Sigh...I've been working 10am-6pm all year since the summer, and now that hockey is back I'm moving to a new shift where I will finish at 8pm, thus missing every first period of every game.
I used to work 8 AM until ~1 AM plus 15-20 hours on the weekend. Do what I did: DVR the game then avoid ESPN/TSN/HFBoards/etc. like the plague until you watch the game.
I used to hate the idea of DVRing live sports, but it really wasn't bad. As long as I didn't know what happened, it felt the exact same. You can also watch a full game in like 1.5 hours. Though I can tell you it really sucks staying up from 1-2:30 AM to watch your team get routed.
there is a few smaller bars/restuarants like boston pizza, montana's stuff like that but no real bar bars around the arena.
There is the Crazy Horse, and OConnor's at the Centrum, throw in a few others, like a Local Hero's in Stittsville, the Glen, the bars AT the arena (Bert's, Frank Finnigans) and also the many many many bars downtown which get way bigger crowds for hockey games.
