I hate beer and do not see the need to have two threads on it

So I should be brewing up a double IPA of my own here in the next couple days. Should be interesting to see how this one turns out, first one in a while that I won't have to age for a few weeks in fermentation and then another month or so in bottles.

Disappointing that I haven't seen any seasonals of late that do much for me. A lot of good stuff coming out later this winter though (Foothills Sexual Chocolate), to the point that I'm debating taking that Sunday off to go to the launch since it's right down the road from me... relatively speaking.

Just had a couple Shipyard Pumpkinheads. Liked them a lot.

But Busch is still the best.

I need to get another 6 pack. I know it's a 4-pack, but I'd love to get some Blithering Idiot from Weyerbacher. It's really, really good.

IMO American beer is fine but nothing special. Finnish/Northern European is pretty bad in general. Then theres German beer ulala its seven minutes in heaven when you take your first zips.

Also enjoy Corona and Heineken.

ive always wanted to brew my own beer...can you explain why you dont have to let it sit and ferment for a couple weeks? It thought you had to do that with all beers

If you generalize American beer like this, it's clear that you've never been here and are just basing your thoughts off of Sam Adams and Budweiser. The craft beer scene in America is incredibly vast, fun, and delicious. America craft beer scene offers better beer than the rest of the world combined.

Finally having my first tastes from Three Floyds. Have had 4 of their brews. One was ****ing amazing, one was pretty good, other 2 were not for me at all and won't even be finishing what I have left before I leave.
