VanRyn

Do you think he'll make the team? I know it's early but he's playing awesome.

I'm guessing he'll be a callup.

He's proven in the past he can handle it and he's proving it again. Keenan is taking notice so I'm sure he has no problem cutting a player like Gill or demoting someone else to San Antonio. Any player that is playing like Van Ryn deserves his spot and he's earning it.

It's still really early in camp, so I'm waiting to see if Van Ryn can keep up this consisently good play. I think both Duds and Keenan would love to see him knock some other veteran down to San Antonio...

I was really impressed by Van Ryn in the scrimmages I saw. I hope he pushes that jackass Gill out of the line-up as well. We have a lot of young talent on D and I would like to see Van Ryn get to play in the NHL again, I was originally happy we traded for him and now after watching him in scrimmages (as well as hearing about how he did in exhibitions), I think he could be playing come opening night for the Cats if he keeps it up.

As of this point, I'd put him ahead of Trnka on the depth charts. Will he make the team come opening night...not sure.
