That's true too, I gotta defend my title last year (League 4 winner), or win another one in the Champions' league

O damn. I am going to have to dig for people in my league. A lot of casual guys are pissed and won't play this year. I am 3 times the defending champ in my league. Ya, get owned.

If Stewart is struggling in STL, I'd definitely love to see us do a swap with Zidlicky. Gives St. Louis a valuable defender for a guy that isn't cutting it there, we get a chance at a guy with a bright future. I have a feeling Stewart goes to PHI the first chance he gets though, him and Simmonds are great friends.
It'll definitely cost a good amount. Personally, I'd rather add to, say, Tallinder, to get a Stewart-type than trade straight-up for a D'Agostini-type.

Question for everyone :

Just how vital was it for Lou to re-sign BOTH Marty *and* Moose now?

With the shortened season and basically one-game-after-another everyday, those two are going to get PLENTY of work.

Ahhhhhh feels good!! Can't wait for the season to started, not thrilled about the projected line-up opening day though. Hopefully Lou can reel in a forward before the season starts but Im not getting my hopes up there.

Keep in mind we do not have those few months so each game is even more important and there is not too much room for error if we want to make the playoffs
+1000.

The team that can get on a hot-streak right off the bat has an excellent shot at the playoffs. That's why it's CRUCIAL that the Devils start winning right away.

I ain't payin anytthing for ticket prices unless they lock me into a season package deal for 45 bucks. Other than that the NHL can fly a kite for 2 years.

Let me correct myself... I said I was in love with the idea of acquiring Stewart, but I'm moreso intrigued by potentially nabbing Franzen, unrealistic as that may be.

I'll be at every game I can make and I'm happy to keep my season tickets. Not going to home games will just hurt the Devils organization at this point, not the league as a whole. As someone who had Yankees and Giants season tickets growing up, the Devils treat season ticket holders far better than any others I've dealt with (Yankees are awful, Giants are decent). The Devils have done nothing to lose my business and I can't wait to be back at the Rock.

I really wish I had your resolve. even if ticket prices stay high, I'll be lucky to hold out for a month. **** them all for creating addiction and cutting us off every decade like some ****ed up drug dealer with no business sense.

I don't view the Devils as a separate entity from the NHL and I don't view the players as a different one from the NHLPA. They can live without me funding them with a few hundred every year

So realistically what do we think our lineup will be opening night in 1.5-2 weeks?
