Get rid of one pred

If you could name one player to be replaced on Nashville by someone emerging in the farm system or via trade, which Predator would you chose to have leave the team, just one.
I would pick Denis Arkhipov, with McKenzie a close second.

arkhipov is a no-brainer, but orszagh would be a choice for me...and walker is really making a case for himself

I still don't want rid of Walker. He thinks he's doing whats right, as insane as that sounds, and yes its insane.

hmmm. Anyway Arkhipov is at the top of the list. Orszagh is gone now. Now way will he be asked back next season. Atleast I don't think so.

Denis Arkhipov is definitely the one to go. If we could get a bag of pucks from him, we'd have a good deal. But why the Orszagh hate? He may not be a scoring machine, but he's been consistent and defensively dependable over the years.

I don't hate orszagh. I just think that he is expendable and when we can get a good trade or have a farm player replace him, then he could go.

I agree that Orszagh is probably one of our easiest tradeable assets, we have players with more potential that could easily fill his role. I'd hate it though, he's such a likeable player.

I would start with Jimmy Mac. From there, I would go with Arky; I would only get rid of Orszagh if it was to address a team need in a trade(center). I wouldnt trade him for draft picks or prospects unless they were blue chippers.

I never thought of Allison actually, but he is very replacable. Especially after attacking the crowd, I do not have much respect for the guy, he gives us bad publicity. With guys like Timonen, Zidlicky, Hamhuis, Eaton, Suter (will be a pred when NHL comes back I think), Lilja, etc, why keep Allison???? I would prefer Hutchinson over him.
But yea I think Arkhipov is the obvious most expandable with Allison a close second. You guys think Orszagh and I guess he is exandable, but he is very likeable as mentioned and I do not think he SHOULD go unless its for something good as mentioned (blue chip prospect, good centre, etc.) McKenzie can go for sure, I do not think fighters are needed when you have big tough guys on the team. The only scrapper I would want our team to have is either Domi or Brashear.

I also forgot about Jamie Allison. When we picked up Andreas Lilja, I didn't expect the team to re-sign Allison. And there's nothing wrong with fighters, as long as they can contribute elsewhere. Jim McKenzie won't help our scoring. We should have kept Jeremy Stevenson; he had some potential, IMO. But Jordin Tootoo is a future Tie Domi, IMO. Tootoo's not there yet, but he can actually get shots on net. More than a few times this season in AHL Milwaukee he's gotten about 5 shots on net in a game. When the shots start going in, then he's found his groove.
