apparently schedule has changed again to only 4x division opponents.

So either 46 games or an extra random 2 games against conference opponents?

I'd honestly just rather 46 games to make life easier and fairer for everyone.. would suck to have an extra game against a top team decide a playoff spot.

Based on TG's post, doesn't seem like he will.. Lou seems to want his NHL lineup to get as much practice as possible

Lou said the juniors players that may be invited were going to play their Friday games, I believe.

I'd like to see Matteau invited, it'll be better to get him with the coaches and NHL players for a few days than having another game or two at juniors. Either way I don't think it's that big a deal really.

if his skating is clunky in the Q I'd hate to see it against NHLers, but hell. At least he'll be able to throw a hit without getting a major

I wonder what the availability of Blake Wheeler would be. He'd be a nice big replacement winger on the right with Zubrus and Elias. I think he's an RFA after this season though, not sure who we could give up for him.
