Flames Schedule is out

http://flames.nhl.com/club/news.htm?...id=DL|CGY|home

11 of our first 15 games at home is a nice way to start. If we do well then that should provide some momentum for the season. But at the end if we are battling for a playoff spots, our last 4 games are on the road against teams that will also be battling for that spot.

Also an odd one, we play Kings twice in LA. Not on consecutive nights but on Saturday and Monday.

Robb Kerr is totally going to Disney Land that Saturday to do a passionate play-by-play of Space Mountain.

I like that we get a bunch of home games to start, this team in particular will need an extra boost in the first 3-4 weeks. Of course you'd hate for them to get off to a bad start regardless and squander those opportunities at home, so it goes both ways.

Really tight schedule. 9 different times they play back to back nights. A lot of Sundays too.

Yeah if we blow these opening home games, we squander the season.

Pretty much this. Looking at other team schedules, Flames are lucky to have such home ice advantage to kick off the season. Gotta use that opportunity.

Atleast we will know within the first 15~ games whether the team should be dismantled.

Should be an advantage to Feaster at the very least.

The Flames have arguably the toughest schedule going off of how teams did last year year, hopefully Hartley can get his game plan across quickly.

Hopefully we can win the first 4 of 5. 3-1-1, or 4-1-0. We all know that the game on wednesday night vs the canucks is a guaranteed loss.

Disagree. Kesler out, Sedins are old washed up fogies, and Luongo is going to shank Schneider with a sharpened goalie stick.

We have that one in the bag.
