Minnesota falling apart and they have been playing bad would be pretty funny. The only reason we have not brought it up is their schedule is so easy.

They are unlikely to beat LA especially with how they are playing, but then finish with Edmonton and Colorado.

The Wild are actually playing worse than us right now, they aren't even getting the loser points.

Best part, go look at who the Flames sat in this game, they basically sent Glencross home so they have less a chance to win games, Wideman has a broken finger, they even scratched Cervenka for no reason.

Guess the management didn't tell the players they don't want to win.

BJs up 1-0. Not a great start for the DRW.

Jackets up 1-0.

Red Wings are a pathetic bunch if they lose out on the eighth seed to such a garbage team/franchise.

Gotta give it up to Columbus, they are playing their hearts out. Wish we would have given this sort of effort over the past 10 or so games.

2-1 Columbus. Sharks showing some signs of life. Couture with a nice pass to Havlat.

Stars lost in OT?

Anyways, it's a four-way race to the 7 and 8 spot in the West imo.

Unless Detroit ****s the bed against Phoenix tonight (which is always a possibility), it's Minnesota, Columbus, Detroit and Dallas for the last two spots.

The Wild are all over Bernier, up 2-0 in the first period. Doubt they pull him so Quick will likely be rested up for tomorrow's game.

Sharks tie it up with a goal from Stu. Former Wing helping our cause, now SJ just needs to win in regulation. They have been carrying play.

And look at that Logan Couture scores! Sharks up 3-2.

The Wild are getting absolutely destroyed by the Oil tonight. That's pretty amazing. It doesn't guarantee us a playoff spot but man does it increase the odds we can claim the #7 spot. That would be awesome, we control our destiny in that regard which is all you can really ask for.

Minny is freaking blowing it! lol

I don't see any way the Wings don't make the playoffs now. In fact, I think they'll hold down the 7th spot and face Anaheim. They can definitely take the Mighty *****.

Jimmeh has a .971 SV% and 1.00 GAA against the Ducks in two games at the Pond. So yeah, I think that's the best matchup for us. The Stars in full on nosedive mode but we need to be sure to take care of business tomorrow!

I know they have nothing to play for but Kovalchuk just played one of the laziest games of hockey I have ever seen.

Wings, BJs and Wild win. The Wild victory is very questionable.

I wonder what the story is with Pekka Rinne. He didn't play the last two games and I read that he could be injured. In the Yahoo news section it says he should be fine next season so long as the injury isn't catastrophic. I am surprised this isn't getting more attention.
