Break up FES!!!!

That shift at the beginning of the 3rd with Grigs center Foligno and Stafford was fantastic. Ennis needs a wakeup call, well they all do really....

Awards:
What the Hell Was That &%$(?

The Good -

- Offensively, VHP continues to click.

The Bad -

- Defensive effort for most of the forwards. Hodgson and Pominville scored, fine, and they both cost their team goals. Watching Pominville lose a battle and the puck go in for the fifth goal against, the dagger, was typical of the night they had.
- Effort overall. Some of these guys look like they are skating through sludge compared to just a few nights ago against Toronto.
- Enroth. The bloom is long off that rose.
- No Scott-Westgarth.
- Gerbe getting run from behind and the response was damned light. Myers, get your nose in there.
- FES. They woke up when Grigorenko got a shift with them, but Ennis is not getting it done and Stafford is a complementary player. Foligno looks like he's out of gas.

The Ugly -

- PP giving up chances, and a shorty (as always) and getting nothing done.
- Faceoffs again, especially Hodgson.

Good:
A well populated GDT
I'm still alive in the survivor pool

That's all I've got. I've already erased the game from my memory.

Hilariously, average Roy would have been our best 2-way player tonight. That's how you know you're in trouble.

G: Vanek

B: The Poms/CoHo Defense Show
Myers, Leo, Sekera - they are interchangable garbage, don't single Myers out because of his contract
Foligno - invisible
Ennis
Enroth

U: This was any game from last season.

The good:Vanek and Poms are 1-2 in league scoring

The bad:We have literally zero secondary scoring.Foligno needs to turn it around, same with his linemates.

It's the NHL, you lose games. No one is going 48-0

G:
HPV continues to score goals and creates all kinds of chances.
Grigs looked pretty good when he controlled the puck, more relaxed.

B:
Missing chances, CoHo, Foligno, Grigs all had grade A chances that really change the complexion of the game.
Defense turning over the puck exiting their zone.
Turnovers leading to quality scoring chances.
Too many penalties.

U:
Enroth - Wish Lindy has reversed it, Miller tonight and Jonas tomorrow.
Defense in front of Enroth.

Ok, how about because he's supposed to be our 'franchise defenseman' and has been our worst through the first 3 games. Yes, the worst.

Anyways, just one game, win tomorrow and get back on track here.

Couldn't handle a puck clean to save his life, every shot hits shinpads...he's not physical in the least.
