Ovi scores on a bomb of a one-timer. It's 2-0, #Caps
Talk about conflicting goal descriptions.

Yeah I agree, and its actually why I posted both tweets.

I tend to think Vogel is right. But its easy to see why we argue here so much, two brains just don't see the same stuff. Down to a scrimmage goal.

Ovi looking creative and dynamic

Sky Kerstein ‏@SkyKerstein
#Caps Carlson beats Holtby from an Ovi set-up, 3-0, U-S-A chants come from stands

Mike Vogel ‏@VogsCaps
Interesting to note that Ovechkin barreled down the left side on that rush, too. #Caps

Mike Vogel ‏@VogsCaps
This time Ovi feeds Backstrom perfectly on a 2-on-1, #Caps up 3-0.

it might be that poti already broke down.

Thanks.... but I am much more looking forward to the next 38 goals. I already said I am probably wrong on where he scored his goals last year, this is the 3rd time.

Heck I am more interested in inaccurate tweets on his creativity showing in the scrimmage versus reading, then re-watching his goals from last year from his old position.

Assists to Nick and Carlson, fake shot and then a goal. Playing RW but rushed down the left side, its hard to not to like the early returns of the position change.

It sure is nice to see Ovi agree with me on the warrants of a position change. My twitter feed just went from 1 follower to 2.

Thought I heard/read somewhere that the Bears were down to 4 D the other night. Maybe just need the manpower? IDK

Somewhere Dale Hunter is smiling RT @chuckgormleycsn Ovechkin tells me he was a little lost playing RW, especially in Dzone

Green is going to have a nice safe consistent outlet chipping right up the boards now.

Sky was correct on all accounts. 3rd goal was Carlson, must have mixed Carlson flow with Backy flow. John was really jumping up into the play a lot, which is easy to do playing against ECHLers, but I would presume that he, Green, and Orlov (when he is healthy) will be jumping into rushes quite frequently.

OV's goal was a beauty. Driving down the right side, pulled up a little...fake slapper...Holtby dropped, and OV snapped over his glove into the top corner. In other words, no one-timer.

Ovie collided with MJ at practice today? Looks like MJ took the worst of it and I think both left the ice... does anyone know the status of either?

Both came back and played as normal afterwards. Ovi had a cut and had to go to the room to get it fixed, but that was it. Fingers crossed obviously that there's no after effects.

While the $49.99 Gamecenter is tempting I still can't take them over Hockey Streams until they get the FPS rate up on their broadcast. I mean sure HS has a decent amount of buffering but I'll take that with a picture I can follow over the 24 FPS of Gamecenter.

You would think to with a game like hockey where the main complaint of casual fans has almost always been they can't follow the puck that they would develop something that produced a much smoother picture. The jerky motions of Gamecenter are enough to give me a headache.

I was hoping someone would give a bit more details in light of the position change. And my obsession.

On the assist to Carlson, I saw that Ovi came down left wing a 2 on 1 and using the forehand lifted a little pass over to Carlson for an easy goal.

I figure video may surface.

Thanks HTS errr HST!

What device are you watching Gamecenter on?

Had NHL Gamecenter Live last year so went ahead and did it again. Only downside was that they don't seem supported by the viera panasonic tvs any more which is what I used most of the time at home to watch. Not that big a deal as I can use the PS3 or android phone/tablet if need be.

On the assist to Carlson, did he also drive down the right side and turn to face Carlson cutting, or a drop pass off the boards? Any details you have will be appreciated.

I figure some video may surface.

The Carlson goal, he came down the left side on a two on one...maybe three on one. If memory serves, it was a quick turnover at the far blue line. Carlson jumped in and someone else trailed in the slot. OV slid it over nicely to Carlson forehand to forehand.

I just caught the highlights on the local news. An accurate recall.

Older School... Mike Fornes and Al Koken. I cant remember if they were the original HTS guys. Heck I cant remember who did their games on old Channel 20. Paging TX

The best part about Hockey Streams is that not a dollar of that goes to the NHL

No but it depends if you're watching live or on-demand. After owning a PVR before, I can't stand to watch live hockey because it's too slow with that many advertisements. The games show up faster on-demand on hockeystreams than they do on gamecentre (which is embarassing considering gamecentre is an official source).

I believe registration to nhltorrents.co.uk was open earlier today, might still be open, that plus hockeystreams on demand broadcasts is the way to go for me. Okay maybe the occasional live game through OTA.
