if semin only cost 4.5 million than teams would have been all over him. starting right id rather have laich but these past years semin has clearly been the better player

Pretty sure you can rewind to the start of a game if you get to it before it ends (since it's basically like a DVR while the game is still on). If the game is over already though I believe you have to wait for them to put up the archived version.

Random

But was that the game right after the Caps traded Carpenter to the Rangers? I think it may have been. We lost 4-3 and I think Sandstrom scored to go ahead goal. Carpenter did nothing.

Alzner on 106.7

Oates told everyone to get in shape on their own
Practice is all about learning systems
Yesterday guys found themselves thinking instead of just reacting naturally

Probably because of the limited time, and the fact that they should be ready to go. Those not playing had nothing to do but train.

Buy a Sony DVD player. Not for DVD play, but because it'll turn any TV into a Smart TV.

Its internet ability is amazing, but its internal network ability is what I like.

I finally set up my Power Edge server: peaked out its memory (thank you Amazon), and ordered me 5 additional 3TB Seagate HDD's and a 4 port RAID card. Couple that with Windows Home Server (just for its backup ability for the individual computers in my home network), and I've got 12 GB devoted to classic TV shows (thank you UseNext).

Gotta love that TechNet subscription, too.

Trust me, get a Sony DVD player... even the $100 model has what you need.

Understood it shows live. I'm more concerned with when I can watch. I need to watch the game a few hrs after it goes live.

Thanks for your response. I may call NHL services.

Edit: thanks brs

Versus $7 million for a 21 goal guy? I'd pass on both personally but they made the right choice.

Was using PS3 and PC. The picture made me dizzy, I guess because I had to put in more effort to follow what was on going on.

Though a test I did yesterday had me wondering if I could trust Fraps. The HS preview tested at 60 FPS even though the website said all broadcast ran around 29 FPS. Meanwhile the Game Center preview tested at 29 despite most people saying 24 FPS. Both looked exactly like how I remembered them last year.

Oh well numbers aside, HS still clearly won the eyeball test for me. As for others asking and commenting about on demand delay for Gamecenter, it's mainly due to broadcast restrictions. One of the perks of being an "official source"

Yeah he does... but it's not second nature to him, causing him to think, lose a step, and be forced to use his stick to compensate, thus drawing a hooking call (did I get that right, Halpysback?).

Defenseman position.... It was a poorly executed joke about brooks' flexibility.

In reality he's got the skills to play adequate defense. Not head/consistency…

Hearing Oates and other players talking, they are all facing the same question.

Are you gonna open it up?

And everyone seems to keep mentioning remaining responsible on D.

And of course also say we will open things up.

While I dont think he will be Dale he wont be Bruce, either.

Just like ****ing politics, you always have to sift through the extreme loudmouths to find a viable compromise somewhere in the middle.

Ward on that 2nd unit heh.

Is it wrong to want Chimera there instead? Or maybe Mr Fehr.

At least we are trying to get our money's worth out of him. I assume we will park him in front.

From Katie C's twitter

#Caps running PP drills. Ovechkin with both units at the moment.. 8, 20, 90, 19 w/ 52 on the point and 8, 42, 17, 9 and 74 on the point

Really Joel Ward on the 2nd unit PP?

I'm assuming that Ribeiro is #9, who's #17

17 is Timo Blomquist

I dont like the perma green light for our LD (lunkhead D)

I prefer d pairs have structure - roles. We are just so obviously built to bring offense from that right side D and hope they figure out, the puck dribbling up the center of the ice, the RD gets it, the LD gets back.

There is nothing wrong with pairing a defensive guy and an offensive guy, unless they are doing what they do worst more often than not.

Sarge cheating Orlov back... no thanks.

It sounds like Oates is going to allow the team to "try" to score goals this year. So now they are between Hunter and Boudreau. That should put some of the guys at ease since last year someone got benched for trying to score goals and not playing the system except Wideman of course.
