Markstrom would not get Cooter people. Goalies just don't have that value with the chances of them busting so high. I understand your value for him, but Schenn/Couts wouldn't be moved for a goalie.

So, basically, that type of value, except Markstrom is worth more.

i dont think florida would trade markstrom yet. You trade markstrom (or luongo) when you get the luongo/schneider problem, or the thomas/rask problem. Once markstrom is a proven nhl goalie, that's when they deal with it.

if they get luongo, it's theo who's leaving town.

I haven't seen him play, but it doesn't worry you(or other NHL gm's) that Tallon is looking to bring him in if the price is right??? There might have some doubts about his potential. I know he is good, but goalies just do not have that type of value. We have seen it time and time again, they don't get a what everyone thinks they will.

I think a 1st, and maybe a middling prospect could get him if you acquire Luongo.

If the going price was a 1st and a middling prospect Toronto could offer more than that. FYI when I said Cooter it was more or less just to point out how much Markstrom means to Florida. I mean he is the best goalie prospect in the world right now.

Believe it was a Flyers fan who started this thread. You want to know what it would take? That's what it would take. Bourdon and a 2nd isn't going to get you Markstrom. If the Flyers want to go with Bryz, then other teams are totally fine with that.
