Have Fun: Who makes the PO that wouldn`t in an 82 gamer

Simple question, meant to have some fun. Which teams do fans believe will make it to the playoffs this year when in a full 82 game season they wouldn`t have??

The Oilers. Young guns up and running from OKC will give them a fast start.

LOL ... my very first thought - Toronto - they only have to play half a season

Edmonton, kids seem to come out strong every season, can they string it together longer than 10-15 games.

My darkhorse would be Col, same reason, good young talent that might not be road weary come the end of a short season.

this would be my first choice and the Oilers my 2nd. A good streak in this kind of season could get you in. Both those teams started well last year and faltered as the year went on.

Young, physical teams with minimal roster turnover and lots of players who played overseas should be in the best shape.

Not sure who that applies to.

I would say Winnipeg but bogasian and burmistrov are injured correct?

The wild will probably make it with Parise and suter now, MAYBE Edmonton

Dallas might, I don't think Anaheim will

I would not be surprised what so ever to see the leafs continue to suck it up

You said have some fun........

My pick for getting in would be the Leafs -- because they might be able to do it, plus it would be great to see the epic pissing contests on the main board if they did.

My pick for missing the show would be the Canucks, just because that would be SO much fun!

It's going to come down to who starts firing on all cylinders first. Who ever can't get out of the gate could get left behind quick.

No Kesler, kind of a circus surrounding the goaltending....whatta fun circus that has a potential to be, not replacing or really having a chance to replace what Kesler brings is a huge loss and one I could see being big time difficult to overcome. The West is tight on the best of days

East: The Leafs- just for the entertainment value on their board.

West: The Flames. Could be Iginla & Kipper's last real shot at a Cup.

I'm with you. Their young guns (at least most of them) have been playing in the AHL instead of Europe, so they're currently more conditioned for the North American game. I think they could come out flying and really light up the scoreboard.

I can't see them doing well in the playoffs though. A probable victim of a first round sweep if I had to guess. Their D and goaltending is far too weak.

that Hodgson trade is looking worse and worse for them. He'd really be nice to slot in on the 2nd line while Kesler is out.

Calgary. Kipper can literally play almost every game in a 48 game schedule and he won't even get too fatigued.
