Which Line Would You Rather Have For One Season?

Which of these 2 lines would you rather have for one season? Salary/age aside.

Wingers are pretty close, but Richards is much better than Henrique.

Rangers trio.

Kovalchuck may be the best player on either line, but Richards > Henrique and Gaborik > Elias.

Rangers for sure

wow. i'm really surprised everyone is going with the Rangers'.

last seasons stats:
Kovalchuk: 37-46-83
Elias: 26-52-78
Henrique: 16-35-51

Gaborik: 41-35-76
Richards: 25-41-66
Nash: 30-29-59

Points are all comparable, Henrique is probably gonna be better. Nash will probably rebound playing with actual good players, but ya never know. And then Gaborik has a history of injuries, so he has a somewhat higher likelihood of missing significant time. and i think the Devils' trio is better defensively.

I'd much rather go with the line that has history of success together.

I don't even think Nash-Richards-Gaborik will be a line...

The Rangers line but taking cap hits into consideration the Devils line(22M for the Rangers vs 12.8M for the Devils)

I like Henrique, but if you look at both of those lines...

...one of these things is not like the others amirite?

I'd say Kovalchuk>Nash=Gaborik=Elias>Richards>Henrique. Nash, Gaborik, and Elias are all pretty close.

But I'd still pick the Rangers trio over the Devils, as a Devils fan. I can probably say the same for the rest of the Devils lines, but I'd pick the Devils defense over the Rangers.

Why is it Henrique centering and not Zajac?

Interesting...I think the Rangers have the best defense in the NHL.

The difference between Henrique and Richards makes this pretty easy.

My uttermost despise towards Nash and my mancrush towards Kovy made me choose the Devils people.

Am I the only one who actually prefers Elias over Gaborik? Either way I choose the rangers trio because of the gap between Richards and Henrique.

Kovalchuk

Gaborik
Elias
Nash
Richards
Henrique

I'd take the NJ trio just because of Kovalchuk.

I would say that McDonaugh and Girardi are better than what the Devils have. Staal may be a bit better, but not by much. The Rangers defense drops after McD and Girardi and then again after Staal and MDZ. Devils defense from top-to-bottom is better than the Rangers, but I don't want to get sidetracked here.

If we including goaltending in the definition of "defense" than yeah, Rangers win out easy. If we take just the defenders, then I'd pick the Devils.

To those who voted Rangers, would Zajac instead of Henrique influence your voting towards the Devils side?
