Points are all comparable, Henrique is probably gonna be better. Nash will probably rebound playing with actual good players, but ya never know. And then Gaborik has a history of injuries, so he has a somewhat higher likelihood of missing significant time. and i think the Devils' trio is better defensively.
I'd much rather go with the line that has history of success together.

Kovalchuck may be the best player on either line, but Richards > Henrique and Gaborik > Elias.
Rangers for sure

I'd say Kovalchuk>Nash=Gaborik=Elias>Richards>Henrique. Nash, Gaborik, and Elias are all pretty close.
But I'd still pick the Rangers trio over the Devils, as a Devils fan. I can probably say the same for the rest of the Devils lines, but I'd pick the Devils defense over the Rangers.

Interesting...I think the Rangers have the best defense in the NHL.

Yeah ok the Devils D is underrated but let's not push it.

I would say that McDonaugh and Girardi are better than what the Devils have. Staal may be a bit better, but not by much. The Rangers defense drops after McD and Girardi and then again after Staal and MDZ. Devils defense from top-to-bottom is better than the Rangers, but I don't want to get sidetracked here.
If we including goaltending in the definition of "defense" than yeah, Rangers win out easy. If we take just the defenders, then I'd pick the Devils.
