Players who missed 3 seasons due to lockoutsPost-1994/95 Marketing

Would anybody be so kind and would create a list of players who missed a 3 NHL seasons due to lockouts?

Thanks a lot.

Here is a list of players who played in the 94'-95' season and also played last season. Guys who announced their retirement after last season, like Lidstrom, have been taken off.

Jason Arnott
Adrian Aucoin
Sergei Gonchar
Roman Hamrlik
Jamie Langenbrunner
Sean O'Donnell
Chris Pronger
Brian Rolston
Teemu Selanne
Ryan Smyth
Ray Whitney

Source

EDIT: Original list was skaters only...add Martin Brodeur and Nikolai Khabibulin

EDIT 2: Add Jarmoir Jagr...he didn't show up on original list because of his time playing in Europe

Best guess is:

Jamie Langenbrunner
Ryan Smyth
Adrian Aucoin
Sergei Gonchar
Nikolai Khabibulin
Jason Arnott
Chris Pronger (technically)
Roman Hamrlik
Teemu Selanne
Michael Nylander
Ray Whitney
Martin Brodeur
Jaromir Jagr

Edit: See above link, and sort by year. Bolded players in 1995 are the ones you want.

And Ray Whitney actually played 2 games in 91-92 when the NHLPA went on strike. Is he the only player that played in a part of 4 seasons that had a labor stoppage?

EDIT: Jagr and Brodeur as well. Can't believe I missed them. Especially Jagr.

It's probably a longshot, but could Ray Whitney have been sniffing for a mercy HHOF-bid without the lockouts? Dude got 1003 points as it is.

I don't think he would have. Never broke 90 points in a season. Only hit 80 once.

1x 2nd team all-star in a weak LW position. Albeit he did it in the twilight of his career, but the year was pretty weak.

Once 10th in goals
Once 6th in assists
Never top-10 in scoring

Not a single award, never considered one of the best players in the league.

I respect and like Whitney a lot, but he has never been a real candidate for the HoF.
