So your answer is "I don't know, so I'll just continue to spout BS"?
I really don't know how else to explain it to you guys. I gave you the means to learn it's up to you now. This is like asking Michelangelo how he sculpts or Rembrandt how he paints. It's not something you can explicitly put into words. What can I say except, practice, practice, practice, study, study, study. That's how you'll learn.

But what is Sutter's Michaelangelo-adjusted statistics?
So unless there's a trade, does waiving Wallace pretty much guarantee a spot for Bowman/Boychuk/Dalpe? There are only 13 forwards left in camp and one of those is Westgarth. Could this finally be the year we have all been hoping for?
I am guessing that Murphy goes back to Kitchener and that's the team they go with.

I would certainly hope that we aren't using Bowman on the fourth line as we've been slotting him through training camp.
Like I showed in my lines a few pages back, I would expect Westgarth to stay on the 4th line and have one of Boychuk/Dalpe/Bowman scratched a game. Cycle them in and out of the lineup on the 2nd and 3rd lines.

Other than that, the idea seems feasible.
But other than maybe LaRose (which I find unlikely and not sure I agree with anyhow), who else do you put there? I'm not too concerned about it honestly if he does end up there. In a shortened season where guys aren't in game shape, I can see the 4th line getting more minutes than in the past. Also, there will be an injury or two and he move into the top 9.
I don't think Bowman deserves to be in the top 9 over anyone who is currently there. Not even Chad.
I'm not meaning to imply that he deserves to be slotted higher as of right now, I'm just saying that I hope he wasn't slotted on the fourth line where he's not really useful in the slightest.

I wonder I we have a move left? I could see us going with what we've got. Seems at least two of the kids are getting a good chance. Thanks for having a body made of glass ruutu, youve given people who deserve a chance a good one.
I'm liking the lines overall from training camp up to this point, aside from Bowman as a 4th liner if that line is used as it was in the past.
However, with Bowman/Westgarth-Brent-Dwyer, we can afford to give them some more ice time, as Boom Boom implied. I just don't want it to be 19ish minutes for each of the Staal lines, 15ish minutes for the third line, and then only marginal minutes for the 4th line as in the past. Or something like that, with the PP and PK time changing it up a bit.
I'm still really looking forward to seeing what Tlusty-Jokinen-LaRose does overall. I've been wanting that line for a while.

It depends on what the make-up of the 4th line Muller wants. Bowman has decent size, is a good skater and is responsible defensively. If Muller wants a speedy line that can be defensively responsible, then Bowman-Brent-Dwyer seems like the way to go given the make-up of this team.
If he wants a more physical line, then swap out someone and add Westgarth.
Bowman sucks, not sure why we're even talking about him. He's the least likely to make an impact of any sort, but the most likely to be a boring, useless 4th liner.
