Now that Sparta and Lev have the same owner, they can make the switch.
this

Lev is still in stage of turning spectators into fans, and spectators arent so determined like casual fans. When tickets were released to sale, slovanisti jumped in and bought them all while Lev´s spectators who are used to buy ticket in a game day woke up too late.

Seems a very untypical game for Slovan. But with Višňovský and Sekera gone, I'm afraid there'll be no more "typical" Slovan games this season. A 3-goal lead should have been safe enough, but not with the team's top 3 defencemen missing (Štajnoch is injured).

while defensive struggles were expected, I´m pleasantly surprised by scoring 4 while missing Satan and Vondrka.

Slovan won many games due to precise defense and goaltending, it was about a time to win it with offense for a change.

I'm not sure we'd be celebrating anything tonight with Pöpperle in Lev goal...

Third game vs. Slovan, third loss. Feel a little bit disappointed because the team isn't able to bring it's skills on ice during these matches. Good, that this matchup during the playoffs is very unlikely.

Apparently, almost 10k out of 15,5k fans in the arena were Slovan fans. Amazing numbers for an away game

Ah, I see, thanks.

Oh, and does anyone else think Laco isn't really suitable to be a starter on any of the KHL teams?

Juraj Mikúš (the C, not Juraj Mikuš, the D) to Slovan from Lev. His brother already plays for Slovan. Some links:

There are rumors about Mezei coming too, but nothing confirmed yet.

Fantastic news! An outstanding, dynamic young player. His brother has played extremely well, too, considering he's only 19.

Gagarin Cup, here we come. Mikúš must get healthy first, though.

PS: I'd prefer the defenceman Mikuš over Mezei. And Špirko over Mezei, if we are to get anyone from Avto.

I know that's what it seemed like judging by crowd reactions... but it was actually Lev vs. Slovan.

According to Finnish media Ak Bars Kazan has paid Finnish club Saipa 400,000 euros for goalie Jani Nieminen

Nieminen will likely be the second or third goalie in Kazan after Konstantin Barulin and Emil Garipov.

If I were the boss of the KHL I would ban KHL teams from paying transfer fees for players. The KHL teams would be allowed to sign only players that do not have existing contracts or players whose contracts have KHL clauses which permit a transfer without fee.

Some of these KHL teams don't know the value of money. 400,000 euros for a player like Nieminen is a bad joke.

And this is why we need more socialism inside the KHL. The money transfers need to go inside the KHL, not out of the KHL.

Have to say that the way the Visnovsky situation has been handled has left a really bad taste in the mouth. Medvedev going off in the press only for the league's position to reverse a few days later. Disappointing, very disappointing.

The KHL has an agreement with the NHL not to poach players that are under contract. I don't see any benefits for the KHL if they would have violated the agreement. It would also have given the NHL the green light to poach any player from the KHL.

a trash-talking aging player is not worth breaking the agreement between the leagues. shut-up and full-fill your contract
