I've taken a few college psych classes in my time. We should open up a practice.

And I agree on bob's ability to make it through a whole season. If you want a future with a perennial contender, you don't tell the media you aren't prepared for the playoffs.

Might as well hand in your man card

All speculation up to this point, I wish the best for BOB and hope he becomes a legit goalie. I wish Homer was a little more patient, but hopefully it works out for both of us.

Everybody gets cold feet.

As a coach you say "suck it up" and play him.

After a a game or two he'll realize there's little difference between netminding a a regular season game and a playoff one.

That is the Bryz we need to see the entire year.

Playing huge when we needed him to.

Great games out of Bryz thus far.

He really stole the game on that five on three pk. Rest of the team played great as well considering the players we were missing

Bryz has played great thus far, especially tonight against the rangers. Deserved the shutout, sucks about the bounce.

the TEAM did play much better .... and Bryz even took his game up a notch, too.

noticeably higher compete level from him. better positioning, body language & puck tracking & stick handling.

Bryz was awesome tonight. Pisses me off when I see people referring to him as horrible or the worst starter in the league (check the Rags board lol).

All they remember is Bryz's low points last year and in the playoffs, and this years box scores. Bryz is the whipping boy, but if he plays well all season..... it will just be a fluke to them of course.

Hopefully Bryz can keep this up, nice solid goaltending. Just keep HBO away from him!

That's exactly what I'm saying to my friends. Keep HBO away and he'll have a great season.

To be serious. I thing he has started this season good, last night really good. I hope that he continues to play like this, and that the rest of the guys continue to play like yesterday.

He's been pretty good so far, hopefully he can keep it up because with all the injuries we're gonna need him.

I honestly can't think of goal he gave up so far that you can say was 100% on him.

scary thing is, with the condensed schedule, unless we're going to do what the Blues did with Grant Fuhr, we're going to see Leighton sooner than later

I remember hearing (somewhere) that you could use an amnesty buyout both this upcoming offseason AND the next, is that right?

Hopefully after a 10 game winning streak.....Leighton should not even set his tippy toe in the crease until the Flyers are in better status in the standings
