Paul Martin with salary retention
Paul Martin has a cap hit of $5m and under the new CBA teams can keep up to 50% of the cap hit in trades. It makes big contracts easier to shift somewhat. I was wondering what teams would be willing to offer if Paul Martin was put on the block with 20% or 40$ of his salary taken by Pittsburgh for the next two seasons. Would teams take him on for $4m? or $$3m?
