Does anyone know how I would go about donating some used hockey equipment to organizations that could use them? I am moving in a week and during the course of my packing I found that I have about 3+ full bags of equipment I have used over the years. At least two bags are filled with equipment I don't use anymore. I don't want to move it but I won't throw it away.
I was going to just give it to my local rink but I would really prefer some type of charity that helps kids play.
I know that pretty much all NHL teams have some form of charitable organization to get underpriviledged inner city kids involved with hockey at a young age. I also believe Grant Fuhr, Pat LaFontaine, and a few others have their own organizations as well.
