Waive Jack Skille, as well as Casey Wellman (not sure if I have too since he was already waived in real life?) with the intentions of sending them to the AHL.
Scott Clemmensen, Peter Mueller, Mike Santorelli, Filip Kuba, Mike Weaver, Tomas Kopecky all available.
Alex Edler
Mason Raymond
Conditional '14 draft pick (3rd round pick if Edler re-signs, 1st if he walks)
We tried to re-sign Alex but he informed us he was going to test UFA and at that point we decided to see what we could get for him. In Voracek we feel we have the perfect compliment for Kesler and Booth, a big, smooth skating playmaker. We thank Alex and Mason for their years of service and wish them the best in Philadelphia.

PK Subban has been placed on the trade block. Straight up trade only (young elite winger or young elite defenseman). Other pieces can be added but you get the point.

For teams needing top 6 forwards. Fisher, Kostitsyn, Legwand, and Erat all available. Looking for picks/prospects.
Rinne has been taken off the table after some really horrible offers. Unless you feel like you have an incredible offer, please don't pm me. I will be more than happy to have one of the best goaltenders in the world in the net for me for the next 7 years. I was rather disappointed by how many people expected me to drop the price because of his cap hit. It does not bother me, so you certainly won't be getting a discount because of it.
You gave up a top pairing d-man (who some consider to be a lower end #1 d-man), a 2nd/3rd line tweener, and a possible 1st round pick for a 2nd line winger.
If anything, you should have been the one getting a draft pick, not Philly.

I gave up a couple months of a guy on the Canucks 2nd pairing that refused to talk contract, a guy pencilled in on my 4th line and potentially a 1st round pick in a future draft for a guy that should solidify the 2nd line and give Kesler and Booth what they desperately need.
But I guess I could've traded multiple top prospects for a 2nd line center who's set to be an UFA....
In other unrelated news, Roberto Luongo/Cory Schneider are still available for anyone that is interested. Would like to find a top 4 d-man with a RH'ed shot.

Now now Nucks fans. We've all had some questionable trades as the GM. Nuckles your Zubrus trade was just as questionable.
Hug it out.
Ehh, you just hate Zubrus.
And there is a difference between trading futures for someone who can help now and trading current assets for a current asset who is worse in these GM games.
Well the way I see it the Canucks never win the cup in these games anyway so I'll just sign Edler in the off-season and have both Voracek and Edler for next season. Success!
Does Fisher have a NTC or not? I'm rather confused by capgeeks description.
"Full NTC (through 2009-10); Limited NTC (2010-11 through 2012-13, only if a 10-team no-trade list is submitted by end of 2009-10; Ottawa Sun reports the player declined this option)"
Since he declined the option of submitting a list of teams, does that mean it does not count?
The following players will be on the trade block until the trade deadline tomorrow :
PK Subban (if a young elite winger or a young elite defenseman is coming back in the trade) Tomas Plekanec or David Desharnais (if a young proven top 6 winger is coming back in the trade) Erik Cole (if a younger top 6 winger is coming back in the trade) Rene Bourque (futures) Peter Budaj (futures)

It would take an amazing offer for us to think of moving Dougie Hamilton, cheap ass prospects and average roster players are not what we call amazing here in Boston.
