Trukhno With Big Game

Slava Trukhno had a big game last night for the Rocket with 3g 1a in a 6-2 win
Ryoun-Noranda .IMO that really shows some character considering how important
the game was putting them back in the last playoff position and considering older
guys have lacked leadership lately.

I've spoken with Slava a couple of times lately and I'm quite impressed with his
attitude and demeanor. His english is very good by the way.

The last ranking I saw had him at around 40 for NA skaters so is that about
55 overall.IMO he'd be an Awesome late 2nd round pick.

Anze Kopitar and Slava Trukhno are two players im very high on. Trukhno can be a 2nd round steal! I predict he'll go early second round. That guy can stickhandle inside a phone booth.

Slava mainly grew up in Denmark, Danish schools. His dad has played hockey in Denmark for ages.

We're still hoping he'll get a Danish citizenship, play for Denmark...

I might not have worded my second round pick comments so well.I meant if that's
where they have him projected that yes he would be a steal.

Early 2nd round. Around the 30-40 range IMO.

Yes, that's about right. One thing with this prospect is I don't see alot of
question marks with him.For a European he's adjusted fast to the N.A. game
and his defense is pretty good. His skating, size, skills don't have any huge gaping
holes.

he's a very dangerous player, too bad he doesn't have some better talent to play with in PEI (sorry PEI fans). with someone to set him up or vice-versa, he'd probably be top 10 in Q scoring right now IMO.

What other country might he play for?

If he becomes a NHLer, even a marginal one, Denmark will probably see very little of him unless they crack the top league. For example Byron Dafoe is British-eligible and willing to play but is never available.
