RFA List - Who stays? Who Moves?

Here is the list of the RFA's still out there.

Put your guess down for them to stay or get traded/offer-sheeted. A few teams are against the cap here and are at risk of losing some young talent.

Kulikov, Dmitry » FLA $1,325,000

Petrecki, Nick » SJ $1,125,000

Del Zotto, Michael »NYR $1,087,500

O'Reilly, Ryan »COL $900,000

Subban, P.K. »MTL $875,000

Benn, Jamie » DAL $821,667

Palmieri, Nick »MIN $801,667

Franson, Cody »TOR $800,000

Sheppard, James »SJ $725,000

Teams can spend up to 70M this year, no team is up to the cap.

I doubt if anyone is lost thru offersheet.

You cant try to screw small market teams like Philly tried with the Preds this offseason, offersheets are going to be seen even less.

In another thread I saw that any cap on the books for next year has to be <= 64.3 Million. Do you know if that is true? A few of these guys are looking at 4 - 6 year deals.

I believe Brett MacLean is done with the NHL and hockey in general after suffering a heart attack over the summer.

It's true, he has had to retire because of his heart.

Saw something about nothing being able to sign guys that put you over the cap limit for next year, ex Habs have 59M for next year, so the max they can offer Subban is 5.3M on any deal over 1 year, without trading away someone that is singed for next year.

Not sure how true it is, its been debated, but it makes sense.

I don't see why teams wouldn't be allowed over the cap of the following season before hitting the offseason's 10% cushion.

Don't see any problem other than a holdout (which I don't predict) for any of those RFA. The question should be RFAs for next season because of the lowering of the cap and the possibility of not re-signing them and/or trade bait.

Doubt any of them move. Not super exciting but I'd wager on that as opposed to any sort of shuffling.

Though, the Habs could trade us Subban and I wouldn't mind.

Doubt any of them go anywhere, but I sure would love Kulikov in a blue note
