Jessiman Returns: USCHO Story

Rangers first-round pick Hugh Jessiman picked a good night to come back: tonight's SRO visit by Harvard.

P.S. For what it's worth, I'm going to the OTHER Harvard-Dartmouth game tonight: the women's game in Cambridge. A good take for $5. UNH-BC is sold out anyway.

Good to see him back in the lineup. Guess Brooks was right about him returning when he reported it a week ago.

The Valley News also has a story on Jessiman's return. This might not help much tonight vs. Harvard, but it'll be a huge boost for the Big Green come post-season time (which is just around the corner).

Jessiman tallies a shot on goal...

and a coincidental unsportsmanlike conduct in the game, which saw Dartmouth beat Harvard 2-1 in OT on two goals by Oullete, both assisted by Stempniak.

Dartmouth's coach was quoted as saying, "I thought he played real well". His status tonight was not immediately known. The coach wants to wait and see how he feels before declaring him ready to play.

Here's the USCHO story on last night Harvard-Dartmouth game, won by the Big Green 2-1 in OT.

P.S. For what it's worth, the game I went to, the women's matchup, wasn't bad either.

i imagine he didn't play a whole lot...hopefully he'll get into the game tonight and get some action. they're probably hoping he can shake off the rust a little here and help them more in the postseason
