Habs forum saying NHL has confirmed the Leafs will open the season in Montreal.

Rumour was the league/Leafs asked the NLL Rock if they'd be interested in rescheduling their January 19th game at the ACC - the Rock politely declined, so it made sense to move the game over to Montreal.

Jets/Sens also are going head to head on the 19th in Winnipeg.

Will update when more details come available.

I'm also surprised that the Toronto Rock told the Maple Leafs they wouldn't switch their home game to another date.
