Who's going on IR, traded or waived?
Hope he gets a better chance than Panik.

My guess would be Pouliot.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. Sucks cause he was playing well. You think Palat slides into his slot on Vinnys line or they put Malone there?

Are they actually gonna let him play or shelter him with 5-7 minutes a night?

He'll get 15-17 until he starts forechecking.

Palat is a better fit on the 3 or 4 th line than Panik was. Glad to see all his hard work payed off, he was often the forgotten one on that team.

Palat is capable of playing top six in spots, but he can really play D quite well.

Nothing wrong with a new player on this team. If the previous Crunch callups are any indication, the effort level Palat could turn in will be a big plus.

This is pretty much it right here. 3-4 line guy, honest two way play, been working his ass off and shook the scouting report of being a perimeter player.

Enjoy those paychecks playboy.

One last thing on Palat: Lightning's Boucher said,"He has been the most consistent, most complete player the last two years on that team."

Lots of praise from Boucher.
