I don't think he would. Green is by far their best defenseman, both offensively and (surprisingly) defencively.

We're going to have to add to get Green.

Mike Green could do with a change of scenery. Not sure how he'd fit with so many expensive D though.

He's a better version of Ehrhoff IMO. And could finally give Edler a decent pass for a 1 timer on the PP.

Doubt they'd trade him anyways.

There is no comparison between the two. Green is about as dynamic as you can get for offensive dman. Ehrhoff is not.

Green with his injury history might be iffy though... I dunno. Carlson is probably untouchable for them too unless it was Schneider going the other way. Would expect Forsberg+ for Luongo though.

Luongo + Ballard (I really would prefer not to trade Ballard.. but I guess that's the only option) for A.Larsson

Edler Larsson
Hamhuis Tanev
Garrison Bieksa

Boooom

Larsson can't even crack the Devils lineup, what makes you think he would be good here let alone on our top pairing??? Massive overpayment from our end (wouldn't even do Luongo for Larsson straight up), and all that salary to NJ wouldn't work either.

Isn't Larsson currently an occasional scratch in NJ? I know he'll be good but don't think he'd jump straight onto our top pair.

I'd really like to see how Edler - Tanev play together. I think Tanev's defensive conscience might work well with Edler.

Really think we should get Weaver out of FLA to reunite the best advanced stats shutdown pair in the NHL (with Garrison).

It was based off his last season where he showed lots of promise. Lines weren't in any particular order.

I'm still on the Schnieder trade-bandwagon.

Mike Green? Have you guys watched hockey in the past three years, guys? Dynamic? Best offensive defenseman? The guy can't even hold Kevin Bieksa's jockstrap lately.

He didn't show he is worth a top 5 goalie last season.

He's talking about Adam Larsson. The one that recently turned 20.

Adam Larsson for Luongo is automatic. Can't believe you would trade Luongo straight up for Jared Cowen but not Larsson...

Yep.
And they already have too many d-men, they wouldn't want Ballard.

It's because Larsson is Swedish. Cowen shouldn't even be considered.

Did someone say hes the best offensive defense-man? Cause i think theres a few guys a head of him.

As for his last two years hes been beset by injuries. Never the less dynamic he is.

Funny when you make things up you can make someone look bad in any argument. I wouldn't trade Luongo for Cowen straight up.

I'm very pro this idea. I liked Weaver in his time here & his history with Garrison is too good to pass up.

Would the Nucks be interested in Kessel, if he became available? A deal around Schneider?

Would definitely help them win now, which I think should be in their best interest, Sedin's aren't getting any younger. I think Lou is hungry for a cup too, he needs it to forever shut up his critics, now and in the future.

They'd probably want something major on top of Schneids at which point it would be difficult value wise. He's the kind of player we desperately need to really put us over the top but I don't see us being good trade partners for TO if they decide to go full rebuild.

If it was Larsson for Luongo straight up (obviously unrealistic)... I think you take that deal and run.

Good, we're in agreement that it would likely take more, I wanted to establish that with the Nuck board before throwing the other name out I had in mind... wanted to avoid being flamed too hard.

To Vancouver: Kessel

To Toronto: Kassian + Schneider
