Centers are pretty good, wingers not so even though Murray and Guerin were tied 2nd best goal-scorers once.

Bourque was still brilliant defenseman, but others are not so good.

Ranford was past his best, Dafoe had just few good years.

Playoff team, but likely out on the 1st round.

Argh. Seeing that uniform always make me wanna put a "kick me" sign on the back.

What? No love for Dancin Anson Carter? I believe that he scored more goals than Lapointe or Knuble, but did spend some time at center.

Just can't wait for that Cameron Mann kid to blossom.

No kidding. Id comment, but that jerseys' just a complete turnoff. Cant look. In the realms of "what were you thinking"? that abomination ranks right up there with the worst of them, and I know a lot more than a little about that as a one time Torontonian & lifelong Leafer', resident of Vancouver, having witnessed more fashion crimes in my long years than anyone should ever have to suffer.... So thanks Bubba, preciate' it.

Does the title of this thread refer to players who slept with a teddy bear?

Rick Tocchet
Anson Carter
Rob DiMaio
Dmitri Khristich
Mattias Timander
John Grahame

Neely did play half a season with the Pooh Bears too.

Also we need some muscle on that team: Ken Belanger or Ken Baumgartner

Jeez, how did I forget Carter? Have to put him off-wing on the left because they were woefully weak there.

The abomination also seem to be represented on the ice too.....some really weak teams during this period. As they say, you can't make **** shine.

Tried to go with overall records. Some of these guys had stellar careers....with the B's, not so much or just didn't have the time to make a solid enough impact, (is that statement an oxymoron?):
- Rick Tocchet - Love the guy but 67 games / 54 pts? Wished he'd stuck around some more. He had a few more good years left.
- Anson Carter - As I mentioned above, totally forgot about him. Play him off-wing over Zamuner.
- Rob DiMaio - A scrappy fan favorite but he can't break into the RW line-up. I'd probably go with Tim Taylor as a body before him.
- Dmitri Khristich - Great skills but for some reason I still can't get past the arbitration debacle. I should include him on the weak LW.
- Mattias Timander - Nah, no thanks.....maybe you're thinking of Michael Thelven?
- John Grahame - Rockin' Johnny...solid enough back-up but a loose cannon. Was sort of a Timmy style GK but without a quarter of the athleticism. Can't put him over Raycroft, who played fairly well while he was here.

- Neely- Again, looking at the overall contribution during the time period. 49 games / 46 pts...see Tocchett above.

- Should probably include Bergeron? Can't really replace any of the other centers. Brad Boyes, Dave Reid and Marco Sturm might've been some other short termers to use.

- Yeah, could probably use some muscle but Baumgartner and Belanger were liabilities on the ice. I'd rather go with the short term Neely and Tocchet instead because otherwise the guys in the box would be the defensemen and it is a little thin in upper end talent there.
