Rangers have two 4C's. They needed to keep Anisimov as their third pivot and moved Kreider. Hurts longterm, but their Cup window is the next 2-3 years. Kreider will make his biggest contributions long after that.

They must really like him or want to give him a try.

Is this going to be another game where any Maple Leaf that gets hit three inches from the boards gets a penalty?

I don't know if I like putting so many stars on one line. Perry, Getzlaf and Ryan I can live with because there is grit there. But how much grit and grinding do you get with Gaborik, Nash, and Richards? And wouldn't it be better to spread around the wealth?

Nash/Richards/Callahan
Hagelin/Stepan/Gaborik

Seems pretty logical to me.

Penguins bench players in favor of inferior players, and promote role players (Kennedy to the 2nd line, Glass to the 3rd)
Signing 2 nearly shot players doesn't necessarily make them better. They are place holders...hence why they weren't signed before injuries/mediocrity hit.

Rangers outshoot the Leafs 14-3 in the 1st period and trail 2-0. The King def not himself early in the season.

He is a +4, in 10 minutes of ice time in a 4-2 game. Heck of a night.

Good for Muzzin. He would have been picked up on waivers by now if he had signed with us anyways.

Yeah, our lead didn't last long but Flyers were playing Panthers. Hardly tough competition.

Since I've been able to watch some Buffalo games, I think Thomas Vanek represents the best possible fit for the Pens at the current moment. Big guy who works the front of the net better than anyone in the league, bomb of a shot, tons of offensive creativity, doesn't miss a lot of opportunities, and is a right handed shot.

If Buffalo were out of it, and opened to trading him, I'd eat his huge cap hit this year and next to have him on this team.
