Interesting so far, Black said 30 people cancelled their season tickets. He's going to call each one to make sure it wasn't just an "emotional decision" and give them the choice to keep them. That's a great thing to do considering the waiting list to become a season ticket holder.
The guy is smooth as silk. Said all the right things. Continues to have ideas to improve fans experience and has green light for any project that he wants from TP. Let fans vent a bit and then disarmed them by agreeing with them that they should be frustrated. Fans make the team what it is.
Actually Howard said to email him and he'll forward it to Ted
Yeah. He alluded early in the interview when he was asked about the discount for online sales that people who knew how to get in touch with him got taken care of, but was more overt later. The 'email Howard' thing was an out for him I think; I'd expect he started to realize the flood of emails he'd start getting.
Well Im glad Im not alone then, I thought I made a typo in my email or something. Let me know if you hear anything.
At this point I would suspect it's just a case of him having a good hundred or more people e-mailing him about this, as well as lots of stuff to deal with for season ticket holders (a common topic in his interview). That he responded to one of you 3 already means he should be able to get it done for you guys, I hope.
Howard forwarded your email to me (along with a whole bunch more) regarding the team store sale. My assistant, Fay (copied), agreed to help me assist with your request. I did open my big mouth and say it on the air and, as such, will do my best to allow you and others to take advantage of the sale. I think Fay will ban me from future WGR interviews or at least place me on double secret probation….. I’m not sure what the shipping costs are, but we can figure that out when she connects with you. If you don’t hear from her immediately please understand that we are a bit slammed right now, but will take care of you. Thanks for carrying the Sabres flag in ON. Best regards, TNB"
