The Hawks have played one more game than the Blows and have allowed two less goals.

I guess it all started with Giroux getting hit or someone going after him....?

Rinaldo looks like a ****ing psychopath.

Schenn and Lecavalier fought, then Crombeen challenged Giroux, who wouldn't fight, then Simmonds came in and it just went from there.

Think he was doing like Backes does with star players and push them around, punch them, try to get them to fight.

What a ******. I'm glad Rinaldo kicked his ass, and I hope he does it again.

Nashville just destroyed the Blues at home. The Hawks end the road trip at Nashville.

There is a lot to hate.

I do think the Blues are there in the end with the Hawks at the top of the division. Detroit and Nashville will be fighting it out for a bottom playoff seed.

Yeah, I like Nashville as a playoff team, but I don't see Detroit making it.

Chicago
Anaheim
Vancouver
St. Louis
San Jose
Los Angeles
Nashville

Then the 8th spot is just going to be a hell of a ****ing race with Dallas, Phoenix and Minnesota. If I had to pick, I'd go with Dallas.

I agree, I don't see Detroit making it. Said that all summer and it looks justified to this point. That team simply isn't very good.

Their defense is a mess. Howard is looking like a good but not great goaltender now that he doesn't have Lidstrom in front of him.

Losing Lidstrom, Rafalski and Stuart the last 2 years and replacing them with Quincey, Colaiacovo and Smith is a massive fail.

While I don't think Detroit will make the playoffs, I can still see them getting the 7th or 8th seed. I'd actually prefer they get the 7 or 8 spot, because they won't do a damn thing in the playoffs, and then be stuck with a meh draft pick. I don't see them being too far off from say teams like Phoenix, Dallas, Nashville, or Minnesota. They all have their flaws. The only difference I see between those teams and Detroit, is that I can see those teams sneaking into the 5 seed, and Detroit won't be able to do that. However, I can also see each of them struggling and completely missing the playoffs with their flaws.

I obviously say that as someone who doesn't think Howard is good enough to stand on his head for an entire series, like Holtby and Halak have done recently.

I'd love to play Detroit in the 1st round and yeah, the other teams that figure to be in the bottom of the bracket are not good matchups for the Hawks.
