He is not exactly an old man I don't see retirement so soon.

I honestly see him going to TSN or Sportsnet, but he might be able to find a job. I'd say if he doesn't get a job within the next year he is done.

I'd be suprised if it took longer than 2 years and i wouldn't be suprised if it took even less time.

This league recycles coaches and GMs at a stupid rate and regularity. He'll find a job soon enough whether he deserves one or not.

He's headed to Columbus before the 2013 draft IMO, Howson will be on a very tight leash this year, and after this year I think he's replaced by Burke.

I think it'll be a decent fit too.

He'll replace Maloney by the end of the week.

If he's not a GM with another team by the start of the 2013-14 season, I'll honestly be very surprised. Probably just before the draft.

Yes. Burke will convince his wife to quit her job at CTV so they can move to Ohio.

I think Burke is overrated but he is still a solid GM. I dont see how he would never be a GM again.

I will bet my life that Mike Milbury will never be a GM again.

once the Islanders have officiall moved to Brooklyn, he will become the GM. His ego is too big to go to Long Island. In Brooklyn, he'll feel like he'll have the NY mystique.

Option 4. I think his days as a GM are done. Depending on when Bettman leaves I can see a time were Burke might be the next NHL commishioner.

TSN and Sportsnet are owned by Rogers and Bell. Considering Burke has made plenty of enemies with the owners causes me to doubt their willingness to give him another job. However he is a pretty entertaining figure in front of the camera.

I think within two years sounds about right , Burke have a lot of experience and sooner or later a team will be in trouble and they will give him a call .

Somebody will hire him. Even if it's just to make some headlines and to get people excited. My guess is the Avalanche.
