He is really becoming underrated. In a poll with Canucks goalies, people were saying both Schneider and Luongo were better than Halak.

Skill is pretty even for me, went Lehtonen because I've seen him handle 65+ game workloads and I'd like to see the same with Halak. Not blaming him for not having gotten the chance, just a slight tie breaker for me ATM.

Went with Lehtonen for similar reasons as above. I just think skill is fairly even, but seen Lehtonen handle more than Halak, and so IMO he is a little more consistent on a regular basis. I do also think the system does give Halak a bit of upped stats. Not saying he isn't a great goalie, I just think the hugely defensive system helps him out, just like it helped Elliot out. (as much as people here don't think that is the case, I still feel like it helps out a bit).

So went with Lehtonen.

I wasn't going to comment but Halak has been a part of some pretty special teams. You can talk about stats, system... etc. Or come up with whatever excuse you want - Halak has more accomplishments and has been more consistent.

You could also watch both, and decide based on that. I think skill set wise, they are quite similar. But I think Lehtonen has a slight edge. And could go either way.

*this poll should have an even pick*

No doubt. It's an opinion so you can judge however you want.

I like both goalies and have throughout their careers. I can see either really and an even pick would be nice!

Halak is more consistant.

Halak also splits time with Elliott.

Lehtonen is more consistent, Halak has better peaks.
And consistency is the most important quality goalie may have.
