Alfie, Phillips, Neil and others had been skating with the Ravens Mens team everyday for a good portion of November and December.

Not exactly keeping them in "game shape", but they weren't eating Pringles on the couch, either.

Help them, we were 6th in the conference after 48 games last season, counting that horrid start.

With our vets needing to only play less games in the season, its good for them to not get worn out over.

We also had a number of players playing in Europe and keeping fresh.
