Meant to ask you yesterday (or today) how you ended up doing. Basically the Borgata kicked my ass, allowed me to win my money back, and lured me in to give it back to them and then some. Really the only highlights to my day were the cheesesteak I ate at 1:30 in the morning and constantly reminding myself that Boucher/Foster are flyers again. Which casino did you end up playing at?

So now I can't go, but my son and a few of his friends (h.s. juniors) are going. If they find their way to one of your tailgates ... please be gentle :-)

New to the boards. I'll be at the game on Saturday with my Rags fan friend who lives on the Island and enjoys the cheap tickets at Nassau. He hates the Isles more than the Devils so he'll be rooting for us for the day.

A trip to the old barn on LI is always fun, the arena is old, the concourse is the size of a gorilla urethra, the sightlines are ****, but the tailgating is always a blast (Little Jersey) and the whole place has a charm that cant really be described.

Can't find a tailgating scene like that at the Rock or the Garden.

So everyone was a winner in that scenario. Drinks and cheesesteaks were the only good things I got out of the evening, so you're very fortunate on that one. I felt like Clark Griswold in Vegas Vacation

That is the only thing (besides nostalgia), I miss when it comes to the Meadowlands.

I'd say its fun to remember what it was like to tailgate in a parking lot, especially with a large group, but I definitely like being in a warm bar with beer options and food for home games.. I also don't miss parking in a giant lot and being stuck in egress traffic

Nassau is nice every once in awhile. Having the tailgating option three times a year isn't bad. Enjoy it while it lasts, though. In a couple years we'll have to travel to other divisions for that option.

Last time I was in LI for a Devils/Islanders game, I remember Wendel Clark scoring 2 in a 4-1 Islanders win. That was the most annoying goal horn I've ever heard... Although maybe that's because I heard it 4 more times than I would have liked... I think I'm due for a return trip.

I'll be there in 340! My third trip out there. First time the 7-3 disaster a few years ago and then for the 1-0 win on the Sykora goal last year. Hopefully going over .500 by Saturday.

I just got an email offer for $87 seats in the 100s and 200s where we shoot twice for $42 and $41 seats in the 300s where we shoot twice for $25 plus a service fee. If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM.

Be careful with lots of obstructed view seats near the ice in that arena.

For anyone searching for cheap tickets and is still of college age, you can get $15 tickets from the box office an hour and a half before the game. Just go wait in the "loudville" line.

But then you have to sit in that section, which is similar to the Devils Supporters I think.
