I think he's serious. Sutter really has great drive and is a wizard short handed. I can only imagine what playing with the Pens is going to do for his confidence being around Crosby and Malkin.

Tim Connolly not on the ice at Leafs practice. It's expected Connolly will be placed on waivers. More opportunity for players in system.

Nobody's going to take this guy at the $4.7M cap hit he has. Maybe on re-entry.

The erasing of the Burke era started yesterday by moving Lombardi and now Connolly is the next in line to get the boot. Who's next... stay tunned for another episode of "As the world turns, in Leaf land".

I'd totally take Connolly on waivers. He's the exact type of playmaker/creative guy our forward group needs. And he's not signed past this season.

I'd take a flyer on Gomez, but how could anyone support Gomez over Connolly, if both were for free?

Surprised by the resistance to that. Connolly had a down 11-12, but is a proven playmaker with one of the best of hands in the game.

i'd take almost anyone..at the right price. people who write someone completely off without considering all circumstances are incredibly short sighted. thankfully, GM's dont operate that way

Connolly, just like Gomez, has been regressing every single year. Why do so many people want to take players blatantly on the decline?

I'd pass on Connolly cause he'll get injured when eating his cereal in the morning, right before attending his 1st game and we'd be right back where we started.

Poni was on the decline before coming to the Devils. Did a damn good job, especially in OT in the playoffs.

Interesting, that was their #2 and #3 last year. Who do they have in the pipeline?

I wanted Karlsson a season ago, but we don`t have the place for him at the moment. I`d also rather go after Khudobin this summer.

Because they could still add more offensively than Tedenby, and we need to replace like 60-65 goals from last year's lineup. Butler ain't doing it by himself.

No clue to be honest but Irving is 24 years old I feel Lou puts in a claim for him.
