I thought the JVR- 20th would have worked considering you traded away Paajarvi, Reider, Hartikainen, and Gagner..

^Jets will give a 3rd and 4th instead of Antropov for a 2nd? somewhere between 31 and 55 would be OK

Fucale was a big need for the Oilers. We are still pretty set on the wings for the future to.

My god that top-6 sure is pretty!!!!! People under-appreciate Hemsky too much. Yes he's had injuries, but he's a pretty damn good player!!
You'd really take Mantha, Moroz, Zharkov, or Jones ahead of JVR?! And the chances Fucale becomes number 1 RIGHT away are VERY slim... He'll be with Halifax next season..

I meant for the future. This isn't next years lineup. I believe a guy like Fucale will make a bigger impact for the Oilers then JVR will.

No doubt about that at all!! Fucale has the potential to be a franchise goalie, you're very lucky to get him. And I suppose Edmonton can always pick up another bottom-6 winger in free agency if they need too.

At first I was unsure what your plan was with Edmonton, as I kept seeing names leave and numbers return, but with those picks and the addition of Galy I really like what you've done with the team. So far I think you're winning..

And not to toot my own horn, but I also like what I did with Philly. Sure we dont have a pick until 90th, but we picked up a fantastic young dman in Subban (Meszaros, Laughton, 25th).. and Kaberle for a few prospects who, considering the current roster, wouldnt have a place on the team for at least a few years! So considering the actual needs of the team, I think I covered it well.

Looking to acquire a #2 shutdown defender (in the likes of Smid, Alzner, etc.).

Want to package Giordano, Nemeth, and picks for whoever it is, but am willing to change up the package a bit.

I confused myself when reading this... so it's:

Giordano for 32, 69, Vincour
------------------------------
34 for 48, 62

At first I read it that you got Gio/34 from CGY, then 34 again from MTL... Gave myself a bit of a headache figuring it out.

The Boston Bruins would like to thank Yandle Bars and Newark for their hospitality this week. We would also like to say a special hello to our fans at our draft party at the Fours.

With the 21st pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft the are extremely proud to select from the Windsor Spitfires of the (OHL) LW Kerby Rychel.

Pierre McGuire: There were rumors you were looking to make a splash?
Boston GM: We had many conversations but we feel Kerby Rychel is to good of a player to pass up.

2013 Draft Class:
1-21 Kerby Rychel LW Windsor (OHL)

Toronto confirms. We're sad to see these three men go, but with the acquisition of Schneider in net we feel it benefits our team in the long run. Schneider is a fantastic young goalie with great potential, and we look forward to having him on our squad. And with the recent drafting of Nikita Zadorov, Blacker's spot on the depth chart has been filled. On behalf of the Toronto Maple Leafs and MLSE, id like to wish JVR, Kadri, and Blacker the best of luck in Vancouver.

2013/14 Starting Lines:
Lupul/Bozak/Kessel
Kulemin/Grabovski/MacArthur
Deschamps/McClement/Komarov
Orr/Steckel/Brown

Phaneuf/Gardiner
Gunnarsson/Franson
Liles/Zadorov

Schneider
Reimer/Scrivens

Stars have another trade to announce. Really shoring up our defense here.

Receive:

Josh Gorges

Receive:

Mark Giordano
Ludvig Bystrom
34th Overall Pick
66th Overall Pick
92nd Overall Pick

Was probably a bit of an overpayment, but we had an abundance of PMDs and needed a rock defensively. There aren't many better than Gorges.

Oleksiak - Jones
Goligoski - Gorges
Dillon - Larsen
Nemeth - Daley

Went from one of the weakest blue-lines in the league to insane depth and top end skill.

Am still looking to acquire a guy like Myers, Hedman, Alzner, etc. for Gorges + Daley + Nemeth ++. PM me offers.

Nashville receives: Loktionov
LA receives: pick #77

Can someone agree on whether this trade has net benefit? Just seeing as I am GM for both.
