He has to calm himself down

First set: 7-6, Spain. If it wasn't so annoying, it would be funny. Ramos didn't have a sniff on Raonic's serve the whole set including most of the tie breaker. Yet he wins on his first set point thanks to a horrendous Milos error. Yikes. Milos also made Ramos' serve look like a far more dangerous weapon than it is. Raonic's specialty that set seemed to be hitting return of serves and ground strokes into the middle of the net. Better luck this set.

Great tiebreak, was it six balls into the net?

Looks like he recovered now with the early break but yikes that was ugly.

No problems in the second set and he looks much better.

A break anytime now (4-3 Ramos in the 3rd) would certainly be nice. Ramos seems so vulnerable, but here we are on serve midway though a match that shouldn't be dead even. Makes me nervous....Milos 1 for 16 on break points, well, make that 2 for 17 as the break finally arrives, 5-4.

He is like 1 for 13 on break chances. Really this match could be over already if he would just take advantage.

Well he gets a gift from Ramos on the 4th break chance of the game and gets the break to go up 5-4 and serve for the set.

Easy hold to win the second set 6-4. Really this match shouldn't be this close but it is. Should be able to take care of business in the 4th.

Raonic finishes it off! Great start for Canada!

Milos breaks for 5-4 in the third. A service game away from going up 1-0....and he serves it out for the win. i'm not certain but I don't think Milos faced any break points in that match, unless they occurred in the couple of service games of his that I missed.

The good news is that if Ramos plays as poorly as he did today, even Dancevic isn't completely out of the realm of possibility of pulling off an upset against of him. The bad news is that Raonic is no shoo-in against Granollers if all Milos can do effectively is serve.

Looking at the match stats, no Raonic did not face a single break point. Raonic did look nice and aggressive in that last match.

And a break in the first game of the second set!!! I really don't want to get too excited, but it's really hard not too right now.

What a performance so far, by Frank. Easily the best match, I have ever watched him play in his career.

Posted this on the wrong thread:

Frank gets the second set, too, 6-2 with another two service breaks. He looks great. Can this last?...This is quite a performance tonight, though; the guy has been absolutely on fire.

I can see the crowd behind him going crazy so I assume he's got a break in the third, 2-1...and he consolidates with an extremely well played game...and with a clever net flourish Frank gets the second break....Granollers looks tight and he is not playing very well, but that doesn't detract a whit from the steamroller that Dancevic has been so far....and would you believe, 5-1?...now 5-2 and serving for the match....and after an epic 13 minute battle, Frank holds for the match. Yes, his opponent played poorly, but that is the second most dominant victory that I have seen in months, behind only Djokovic dismantling Ferrer. for Frank.

That was an awesome performance in the clutch.

Not really a shock, I'd imagine Canada had to be favored after all of Spain's top players dropped out and the ones they did pick can't play on the surface.

How is 166 beating 33 not shocking?

Where does that match rank among tennis upsets?

Oh, like hell. You're sounding like Damien Cox. If anybody saw that performance coming, they should have let us know before it happened. That was definitely shocking by my standards anyway.
