Chris Kunitz points total for 82 games this year.....

What would have been his projectrd total if it was an 82 game season? Are there any articles on this? I have a bet with a friend that it was over 100.

Thanks

Just crunched the numbers and he would be on pace for the following output over an 82 game season:

82GP 38G 51A 89P

His stats for the current season:
48GP 22G 30A 52P

52 points in 48 games

So 52/48 = 1.08333

1.08333x82= 88.8333

A little under 89 points. Didn't one of you think to just figure it out before betting?

Yeah, I'm a little worried about the education system here myself.

If it makes you feel any better, he was on pace for 100 points before Sid got hurt.

36GP 20G 24A 44P

1.22222222ppg x 82 = 100.222222

Well some people make bets knowing neither of them could google the answer before hand. Could have just been discussing the topic in person and then made the bet.

No need to rip on the guy , claiming he didnt use common sense, when you in fact didn't use some of your own.

It would of been over 100 if he played with Crosby for 82 games..

You are already talking hypotheticals. Might as well go that route.

Well, clearly he was on the internet while posting here, so the OP could have performed the amazing statistical calculation required to decide the bet.

Sorry, I don't think there's a calculator online strong enough to do these crazy mathematical projections. Do you know of any scientists around you that could help you?

Did Rob Rossi write any articles on this great subject? I'm sure he must have.
