Overall, Sill's not an NHL player even if his PKing is NHL quality.

This team really does hate taking the time to develop their prospects once they reach the NHL level. Bennett gave them no choice, and even then it wasn't a sure thing, and the defensemen haven't faired much better.

I've probably said it too many times but I would really love for Bobby Farnham to make the big club. My favorite after Beau Bennett while I was in Scranton.

Yeah, he definitely won me over this year as well, he's just so much fun to watch.

All the sneaky little stuff he does is hilarious, Ruutu-esque.

And most AHL pests don't have his wheels either.

Yeah, I think if it's one thing that gets him to the NHL it's that speed. And he just never quits. For a guy with (really) limited offensive skill who can't even fight that well, he's insanely electric. I will be really bummed if he just bounces elsewhere in the AHL next year. I'd love for the Penguins to give him an NHL deal but he's given WBS so much this season that they have to give him another AHL contract, right?

I think he'll definitely be signed to an NHL deal, I'd be pretty surprised if he wasn't.

They'll be freeing up some contract spots, as guys like Philippe Dupuis obviously won't be back.

Baby Pens definitely have a better chance vs Providence than it would be vs stacked Syracuse team.

Any chance this game will be streamed online anywhere?

I would love to see how Zatkoff plays in the playoffs.

I was looking to purchase tonight's game, but damn, they want $10 for it. Not going to spend that for one game.

Zatkoff just allowed 4 Providence goals in 5:15 mins. Yikes!

Guess that puts an end to the suggested Vokoun/Zatkoff duo next year

I wouldnt base anything on a career 11th playoff game. Just came off a good series, lets see how he does next game.

Yep. 1 game against the top team in the AHL definitely defines a career.

Wow. Some high scoring games tonight; WBS lost 8-5 but the Marlies got rolled 7-0.

It wouldn't be HFPensBoard if we weren't judging based on the smallest samples available.

Zatkoff having another bad game. Allowed 4 goals on 13 shots, pulled.

Zatkoff had pretty bad playoff stats with Manchester, too. Providence are a very good team. But 12 goals against in 4 periods?

I had a feeling this might get ugly. WBS seems to struggle against Providence, and the Bruins scoring a bunch of goals in a short time span happened in the regular season as well.

Just checking the box score and Thiessen is in net, 1-1 late in the 2nd. Trevor Smith with the goal, assisted by Kolarik and Cody Wild. Wild is in the line-up primarily due to Dylan Reese being injured earlier in the series.

Disappointing to see Zatkoff run into playoff bugaboos for the 3rd straight year.

Both pensteams seem to be having the same situation. Both starters have a bad history with playoffs then get sat for the backup who makes the game winnable.

No future with the pens for zatkoff if he's already constantly pulling a fleury when the pressure is on. Onto the next one.
