Too bad the Bruins had to call up Bart and Krug... and sounds like the Prov goalie sucked this series.

Svedberg won the Baz Bastien Award as AHL's top keeper. at some point you have to give the other team credit...

I had just been reading our board's Providence thread, I don't really care about our minor league team much. They posted his stats and they looked putrid.

Wow, that's heart. Love seeing players like that in the system, that sort of thing is character building and only will help when they continue on.

Not a bad night at all for our Pens.... ... nor morning here in Shanghai where I just walked in to my office to find an unexpected order for consultancy services that will totally boost our quarter.

Feels like a Don Draper moment, and I am seriously considering getting the celebratory single malt out .

Why is it so damn difficult to find AHL feeds, radio streams, live scoreboards, etc? I was looking everywhere for tonight's game and couldn't find anything but a scoreboard that doesn't update live.

Poor Mormina, he was a monster in this series.

You really couldn't ask for more from your AHL captain.

Someone on the Bruins board called Mormina a "little *****".

He's massive. He's like, 6'6.

They're mad because Christian Hanson basically forced Mormina to fight him and then ended up getting humiliated.

Apparently Mormina was supposed to stand there and let Hanson (who already had his gloves off) pound on him.

Bravo, Baby Pens, bravo.

I hold little hope for this upcoming series, but after coming back from 0-3 it's hard to write this team off.

Syracuse is just loaded...it's the same essential team as the Norfolk Admirals that curb-stomped the entire AHL last year and they have their full compliment of NHL players.

Too bad Syracuse isn't still Columbus' affiliate.

The last time this Syracuse team lost in the playoffs was last season when they were still playing in Norfolk, in the second round

Since then they have swept the Icecaps, Marlies, Pirates and Falcons. A 15-0 stretch of postseason games.

A lot of the Crunch players were called up mid-season and stuck due to injuries/their own great play.

Gudas, Barberio, Taormina, Panik, Johnson, Palat, Killorn, Sustr, Wyman, Angelidis and Connolly all saw time with Tampa this season.

All of them have gone back down except Killorn.

Awesome win - there is not much more difficult in sport than the come back from a 3-0 hole. Love seeing it happen no matter when or where.

I mentioned it before the series that the WBS should be happy they play Providence instead of Syracuse. Syracuse Crunch are just an AHL powerhouse.

That said, enjoy the great moment. Im especially happy for Dumoulin. Thiessen played an epic series. And John Hynes is now probably on his way up..

Yeah, going up against Syracuse is like lambs to the slaughter, but good on the boys for coming back from 3-0. That's amazing.
