Under the radar players for next season

This is the good sammaritan thread where players can share players who might slip under the radar for next season & that would make some solid acquisitions late in the draft.

Plotnikov, Bonino, D. Savard, Hellebuyck, Mrazek, Kassian, E. Lindholm, Ristolainen come to mind in my case.

What's your list?

I don't want to say too many since I play Fantasy with some here but Nichushkin (if he stays healthy).

Yeah he's a pretty good name to gamble on.

Where are Dano, Jaskin & Spooner slotted to play next year? Spooner replacing Smith?

Spooner is locked in as the third line center, which may not sound appealing, but it could be huge for fantasy purposes over the course of a full season. Bergeron/Krejci will be drawing all of the tough match-ups, so he'll be there to take the "leftovers". He'll be getting a ton of offensive zone starts and talented offensive linemates (most likely Pastrnak on the right side, who he showed great chemistry with, and one of Eriksson or Beleskey as more of a stabilizing presence on the left, capable of finishing off plays).

He'll also be a key part of the PP on the half-wall, most likely with the Bergeron unit. It was an area that he was very impressive in last year in terms of helping to generate a lot of shots/chances. He actually averaged the most PP TOI per game when he was in Boston. The production wasn't really there last year, but the eye-test for him in that regard was fantastic, as well as his underlying stats about the Bruins directing a lot more on net when he was on the ice during the PP. I expect a big jump in terms of his PP points/60. Unfortunately, the Bruins PP production as a whole is very unreliable due to how little they get on the PP.

The downside for him is that Julien is very unforgiving for defensive mistakes, and he's more often than not treated Spooner with kid gloves, limiting his overall potential. That being said, Julien may be playing with house money this year due to the outlook in Boston. He already started to get better in recent years in terms of relying on younger players more than he has, so maybe that will be a moot point.

Grigorenko could surprise a lot of people this year if Him and Roy can rekindle their junior relationship. He could end up as the 3rd line center or Duchenes winger

I can't see Dano playing outside the top 6 in Chicago which is a huge boost in itself, but many Hawks fans have him slotted in with Toews and Hossa. Jaskin should slip into STL's top 6 as well. He's good for 20-20 at least next season.

Grigs is worth a late sleeper pick IMO

Elias Lindholm is one to watch

Want to say Nichushkin but I don't know if he is really under the radar.

Mrazek was mentioned he is worth a look too going to have to outplay howard hard to be a started but I think he has superstar potential one of these seasons.

real real longshot but always had Emerson Etem on my radar

Chris Stewart might be one to watch on a new team

I actually think you will see Panarin with Toews and Dano on the 3rd line.

David Perron will definitely outplay his ranking.

What do people think about Pearson, Zucker, and JT Miller? I feel like they're all young guys who put up low enough points that they're under the radar but still have enough upside to break out next year if they see top 6 time.
