Thanks for the videos. Holland seemed pretty strong against Fowler. Bonino against Sbisa as well.

5'10 and McDonald's skillset was a lot better. For one, he was one of the best skaters in the NHL in his prime (and still is way up there in terms of skating ability).

I wish I had the crystal balls that some of you guys did. Tell me, how much improvement will Palmieri make in the next two years?

What's wrong with making predictions for discussions sake? It is a message board after all.

Does anyone know if we've signed PL3? Because apparently he's on waivers which would imply he has a contract to begin with.

Bruce says that Toni and Beauch could be a shutdown pairing.

So,
Allen-Fowler
Lydman-Beauchemin
Souray-Sbisa

Didn`t expected these pairs, but looks interesting.

Even if he signs 2 way contract he must go on wavers? I guess Ducks saw something in him, since also the reports were good about him.

And why he`s ''PL3''? First 2 are initials but ehat is that #3?

PS
No, Vatenen is just testing. Still about 2 weeks away

I actually like those pairings. Fowler needs a safe, stay at home partner to allow him the freedom to roam a bit...as well as someone with size and snarl to watch his back. Allen's booming shot is just icing on the cake.

Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond is his full name.

Edit: And yeah - two way contracts don't have any bearing on waivers - it's based on NHL experience.

Beauchemin was pretty good too, but, yeah Allen is in a size of a monster and can punish some guys. Will be exciting.

My point isn't that there's anything wrong with predictions, but that some here are speaking a little too definitively about player futures.

On ice:

Cogliano - Koivu - Winnik
Lydman - Beauchemin

Bruce want`s this shut down line i guess. Must hope that top 6 can do ok without Koivu. I`ve almost forgot how it is to have a shutdown line. Weird to see Winnik on the right wing

Is Wagner at camp or are Sami and Hampus the only injured players up there?

Sabres fan here with a question, who is Ryan playing with and what do you expect from him this season? Not sure if I should draft Ryan or Skinner in fantasy hockey

He'll be playing with Bonino and Selanne to start out at least. Maybe Holland down the road.

For now he`s put on the left wing of our second line, with Bonino and Selanne.
However, we can`t be sure if that line will work against other teams defense, so there is possibility he can be moved up (more likely) or down in the lineup. He`ll get 2nd line PP minutes too, and probably will play on the end of a PK to try to get to a counter attack.

It`s your choice, but i`d pick Ryan - he`ll bring a lot of shots and hits too, those things are usefull on FH

Bonino and Selanne. I'd estimate around 20 goals and 40 points but he could easily get hot and eclipse those marks. Worst case scenario - I can't see him getting less than 15 goals and 30 points. Personally I would take Ryan over Skinner.

I kinda like that line. It's not the best one out there but best one they could come up with the material.

Cool, thanks, any chance he get first unit PP time? I think I'll take him anyways though

Can anyone opine on how this line is looking so far?

Another youngster with a great chance to shine, and stick on the roster, is Kyle Palmieri. Skating with Getzlaf and Perry so far. #DucksCamp

Depends is BB runs 4 forwards on the PP. Most likely though our PP will look like this:

Selanne-Getzlaf-Perry
Souray-Fowler

There is a chance that BB might play Getzlaf at the point, but it was my understanding that Souray was brought in not only to make the defense a little meaner, but to help the PP. 2nd PP guess:

Ryan-Bonino/Holland/Koivu-Palmieri
Sbisa-Beauchemin

Stephens ( i guess ) said that we were trying 4 forwards on 2nd PP with Sbisa as the only defenseman. I forgot who were the 4 F`s but Ryan was one of them, obviously

It's funny. I always thought PL3's name was Leblond-Letourneau. Did he change the order at all? Kind of like Magnus Pajaarvi was originally MSP, then MPS, then just MP.

I think PL3 looks cooler, but it's more fun to type PLLL.
