more people! wooo! welcome all! getting a houston perspective will be super useful considering we're now counting on these kids to develop rapidly whereas before...er...we just sort of gave up on that idea.

Hi, I'm Jari and I'm an alcoh.. Wild fan. A Finn with wife and two kids. Obsessed with hockey, underdogs and mythological creatures.
Long time lurker, mainly hiding in the shadows of international hockey forums. Somehow I don't know how I ended up following the Wild. Sure, half of the Finnish national team plays in the team, but I'd rather see Miettinen/Bäckström playing somewhere else. In the 80s I had a North Stars cap and boy was that cool. Yeah, that must be it. Or Koivu, hard to say.

And you may have the most awesome 9 posts in history sir.
Hello all! I've lurked for months, mainly due to the fact that I come here while I'm at work (I'm at work right now) and I couldn't register at work due to our server and firewall. So last night at home I actually remembered to register, yay!
I've followed the Wild since they started. I remember watching the North Stars with my dad when I was young and was really starting to get into hockey when they moved, and that pretty much delayed my hockey fandom for a few years.
I know there's been a lot of them lately, but I am also a (semi) transplant from the WMB's, although I haven't posted there in about a year and just randomly happened upon HF some time ago (I don't usually frequent message forums). It's been very nice to see the camaraderie here, so hopefully I can add a bit to it.
So then, back to work for me, happy Saturday to everyone! Maybe eventually I'll fill out the "bio sheet," but don't hold your breath.

Welcome! Punch and pie is on your left and you embed youtube videos by the [yt] tag and just putting everything after the "v="

Hello all! Yeah, I'm another long-time lurker who has finally made the jump... I might even have something productive to say every now and then too!
Name: Justin
Age: 26
Location: Apple Valley, MN
Fav All time Minnesota player: Brunette
Fav Current Wild: Brunette, Burns
Fav Non Wild Players: Stevie Yzerman, Joe Sakic, Ryan Miller, Zach Parise
Fav Wild Prospect: Scandella
Fav Non Wild Prospects: Gabriel Landeskog (hopefully he'll be moved into the previous category this coming June )
Fav Movies: Die Hard, Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Music: Led Zeppelin, Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin
Hobbies: whatever keeps me out of trouble
Fav food: A good burger
Fav Beer: Guinness
Fav Wild moment/how I became a fan: I've always liked hockey and was psyched when we got another team again. My favorite Wild moment has to be Andrew Brunette putting a stake through the Colorado Avalanche and Patrick Roy's career in the 2003 playoffs
How long I have been a Wild fan: Since 1997
Origin of screen name: The Wild commercial when Brunette comes back and is trying to get his number. "You got '825' back there? That's Engebretson!" Best Wild commercial ever.

Been posting for a couple weeks now but got bored waiting for the next game on Thursday so I'm killing some time. I have been a Wild fan forever and have hoped for a long time to eventually do Marketing for the Wild.
