10/4/13 Roll Call for Season Opener Isles @ Devils

I'm thinking about getting tickets to the season opener at the Prudential Center. Is anyone else thinking about going or definitely going?

I thought about it. I don't think I will though.

Wish I could make the trip...I do imagine there will be a very good turnout of Isles fans at this game. Just watching Isles' recap videos from last year really keep me at the edge of my seat for the opener!

Thinking of going. I probably will. PM me if anyone has an extra ticket or 2.

What's the easiest way to get to the Prudential Center from lower manhattan/Wall St area?

I'm pretty sure you're going to have to go back up town and travel via Penn Station. Not too long of a ride from there.

I checked the Devils' website and it says individual tickets go on sale in September, but I can't buy them on Ticketmaster and there's no specific date listed for when tickets go on sale.

PATH at WTC straight to newark and a short walk to prudential. incredibly easy commute.

i'll probably be there as well. i see no reason not to go.

i haven't been to prudential in quite a few years. did they make much of a change in their ticket prices? i remember the $10 seats not being bad at all.

Cool. Considering I work 10 feet from WTC I'll definitely go. After the game I guess I'll have to go to Penn Station to get home? What train from the Pru Center goes there?

Even though my ultimate goal is to get to Grand Central Station. (I'll shuttle from Times Sq)

PATH runs frequently at all hours and is a cheaper option than NJ transit. you could just hop back on the WTC bound train and switch to the 4 at fulton street to get to grand central.

Sounds like a plan. As long as PATH runs 10 - 11 PM I'm there. I'll do the reverse to WTC and 4 at Fulton as I take that now. Thanks much bud.

New User here all! Easiest way to get home from Pru Center is to jump on the NJ Transit back to Penn (15 Mins). They usually have alot of trains running back and forth so there should not much of a wait.

Now I'm trying to go. There really isn't much of a reason not to unless I can't get there in time.

I take it that you guys work out on LI? If that's the case, it might be cutting it close to get to the game on time if you both worked until 5.

But for anyone who works in NYC, it really is a cinch to get to Newark in time for a game on a weeknight, provided you don't work past 6. I've done it numerous times now, which is why opening night is a no-brainer for me.

I am coming down from Albany that Friday back home in Suffolk to go to the opener on Saturday. Ideally I'd get home, drop my stuff off and go straight to the game on Friday.

I know my brother is trying to organize something. I'll keep you posted. In the very least, we could just meet up at Penn like last time and head into Jersey together.

It just sucks because if I wasn't bringing anything I could just go to Penn and then to Jersey but having to go out East and back again is time consuming.

How did you get tickets? I checked the Devils website and Ticketmaster, and I could not purchase individual game tickets.
