It still matters. We still have a chance to make it. One point and one of ott/nyr get none in remaining we are in. Two points and one of them gets a point we are in.

Also consider we have yet to win a season opener/ender.

You guys can still make it if you beat us (wouldn't be a big accomplishment the way we're playing right now ) and make it if NYR/OTT crap the bed.

So I guess what has to happen is we need to win/OTL this one and the Rangers and Senators need to lose all their games. So you're telling me there's a chance?

Actually if we pick up 2 points it looks like the Rangers can get 1 point in their last 2 and we'll still ROW them out of town. Same with the Senators, but they have 3 games to get a point.

I'm gonna be at the game and cheer loud and proud no matter what. It's fun when we're still in the playoff picture until the last games.

Fixed.

While some post season hockey would be wonderful, and with Bogo back I'm sure we could take a game or two out of someone (Toby would help too, but that's not realistic, if we can crack the playoffs, Bogo will be back) and hopefully do it at home...

It's pretty exciting, and almost playoffesque to go on a stretch run like this, too. Heck of a ride.

One good thing of the point streak ending is I can take a shower and wash my lucky underwear....Time to start fresh and maybe my family will let me out of the garage

Funny how last night us fans were hating on Washington and today we are their biggest fans. I'm still one of the optimistic ones. The Sens are struggling. The Caps are hot right now. The Philly game concerns me but not the Boston game. As for the Rags. Canes seem to be playing a little better and the Devils would love to knock out the Rags. The Jets only need one point if the Rags or Sens lose their last games.

If Jets can beat Montreal and Hurricanes can somehow find a way to hand the Rangers a loss, all of a sudden things are looking pretty good. You just know the Devils would love nothing more than to torpedo the Rangers playoff hopes.

I am absolutely pumped for tomorrow. A win or even just a single point and we are still alive. Rangers could easily lose their last two games, even the Sens could fail in their last three. Anything can happen.

Even if we lose, which I don't anticipate, the Jets have given us a phenomenal year of entertainment. I'm extremely proud of our team. My plan is to savour every last moment that we still have life. There is a long off season ahead to write the obituary.

It could all be over before the Jets game is finished.

Just go out on a winning note.
Don't embarass yourselves in the last game of the season.

Dress Trouba, and play him if the OOT scoreboard suggests it midgame.

I wouldnt not be opposed in the least to playing him tomorrow.
I have my doubts that he will however.

Last night really hurt, so I'm hoping that the team can shake it off quick and play a good game tomorrow.

Jets just need to win and then let the chips fall where they may.

Yep. If we lose there's no chance. If we win, it's a good way to go out and there's still a playoff chance. I'll be at the game and I'm 4-0 on the season, I'll bring the winning mojo.

I would rather see Redmond get in than Trouba. Zach definitely deserves it.

Jets win

You guys pushing for Trouba to play, really! Let the guy play 10-20 games at the AHL level before you pencil him in for the Norris.

I only said if we get halfway through the game and the OOT eliminates us from the playoffs.

If we're in an all out one game attack for a playoff spot, then no, no he shouldn't.

And I haven't penciled him in for his first Norris 'till 2017. Chill.
